The IMS Forum issued its first IMS Report Card in October
in an effort to dispel the myths and address the hype concerning the readiness and complexity of
IMS. With conflicting information floating throughout the telecom industry, the forum provided
factual data from its IMS Forum Plugfests to clarify the state of IMS product and service
deployments as standards are being developed in parallel.
