The updated version of what used to be called ADMINPAK.MSI is ready for download.

Microsoft has made available an updated version of its remote management tools that allow for the management of Windows Server 2008 from a desktop running Vista Service Pack 1.

Remote Server Administration Tools, once called ADMINPAK.MSI, have an updated Group Policy Management Console, which adds functions such as search, filter, commenting and Group Policy Preferences, Microsoft said. The console had been removed from Windows Vista SP1. Now it is available as a separate download.
